The tour was a great experience for all the Grade 7 girls. We had so much fun, and we made so many memories. We did a lot of exciting and fun activities, from skateboarding to scuba diving. Some of the amazing things we got to experience was making our very own chocolates and making playdough with the Grade 0 girls. We had an amazing conservation talk at the zoo, which was followed by a treasure hunt around the various animal enclosures. We learnt about South Africa’s history when we visited Constitution Court, and learnt about South Africa’s agriculture and development when we visited the Melville Koppies. We will forever remember the amazing view of Johannesburg from the top of the Koppies, it was absolutely beautiful with the different trees and jacarandas. At Acrobranch, we were the adventurous treetop bunch. There were a lot of zip line and tree activities which we all thoroughly enjoyed, and then we were off to Jozi X where the nerf wars began, and we all had fun in the water. We did so many fun and enjoyable activities, and we will never forget them. We are all so grateful for all the hard work Miss de Wet has put into the tour, we all really appreciate it.
