Tennis and Netball
Our final tennis match of the season was at the beginning of March against Brescia House and Holy Rosary.  We are proud to have been able to field five teams for the day.  We had a short, yet productive tennis season this term with 40 girls practising with the tennis squad and an even bigger number participating in the class tennis sessions at school.

A few matches were rained out, but our girls have flown the APPS flag high in our games.

After the Inter House Gala, we changed over to both Netball and Hockey.  We started one week of practises and were scheduled to begin our first Netball festivals and matches.  Unfortunately we have had to enforce a break in our season due to the current national crisis.

However, we remain optimistic and hope to carry on where we left off when we get back to school and continue with our Netball and Hockey season.

Please stay healthy and safe in the meantime.

Swimming
The Inter House gala took place on Saturday 14 March and the morning was extremely enjoyable.  Congratulations to all the houses who decorated their stands and kept the spirit going all morning.

St Patrick won the gala, followed by St George, then St Andrew.  St George scooped the Relays trophy.

The Spirit trophy was a tie between St Andrew and St Patrick.  The following swimmers took home trophies and must be commended on their achievements:  Eva Hamilton-Brown and Rebecca Wyborn; Erin Hudson was the winner of the Senior Victrix Ludorum and Emily Muller was the winner of the Junior Victrix Ludorum.  Well done to all swimmers and their parents for being such good sports.

Thank you to all the staff for helping to make the morning a success.

Well done to all swimmers for doing their best in all the league galas.  The results have been very good.  Thank you to the mothers who lift every Friday.
